Mr. Maynard is a former CEO for a publicly traded company who first became involved with biometrics when he ran divisions that utilized biometrics in healthcare. Prior to founding BSI, he negotiated a $10M reverse merger and the sale of an electronic prescribing company for over $3M. He is a co-founder of eScript Systems™ and developed several patented biometric signature authentication inventions. He has senior management experience with two top 10 pharmaceutical companies, and was an equity partner for a software development company in predictive modelling and data mining in healthcare that later sold to a public company. He has also served as Vice President of Business Development for several publicly traded health service companies in the U.S.  Mr. Maynard has published numerous white papers on identity proofing and been a keynote speaker at multiple conferences. Through his leadership, he has guided BSI to recognition by the State of Texas as among the top 4% of companies with breakthrough technology, and earned a New Product Innovation of the Year Award from Frost and Sullivan. Most recently, the White House chose BSI technology to reduce identity fraud on the Internet from a field of 180 competing companies.  In his career, Mr. Maynard has helped to create, manage and nurture seven early stage, startup companies and has been a proven performer in developing successful products and teams in both early stage and Fortune 500 companies.

 

Ron leads the investment and research efforts at Sweetwater Capital Partners. Prior to Sweetwater, Ron was a Senior Associate at Signal Peak Ventures, where he led the performance / portfolio management team, helping to optimize outcomes for a portfolio of late- stage and end-of- life technology and life science assets. Prior to Signal Peak, Ron was a Private Equity Analyst at StepStone, where he focused on European primary and secondary private equity investments. He has spent time working with German e-commerce companies for Paua Ventures in Berlin and completed consulting engagements with TRUMPF GmbH. Ron holds an M.B.A. from the University of Mannheim and graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Villanova University. Ron speaks fluent German.

 

 

Mr. Hamilton is a Senior Consultant with Identification Technology Partners (IDTP), a consulting firm in the identity management field.  He is a recognized industry authority and subject matter expert on biometric technology.  Mr. Hamilton has been committed to advancing biometric use and is an advocate for the adoption of open standards, crucial for industry development.  He completed a seventh elected term as Chairman and President of the International Biometrics + Identity Association (IBIA), a Washington, D.C.-based non-profit trade association that advocates the use of technology to determine identity and enhance security, privacy, productivity and convenience.  He currently serves as Vice Chairman of IBIA.  In his work with IDTP, Mr. Hamilton is actively involved in supporting government clients in implementing biometric technology in the maritime and aviation transportation sectors.  Prior to joining IDTP in 2006, Mr. Hamilton served as Vice President and General Manager; Biometric Solutions for Saflink Corporation.  Prior to joining Saflink in 1995, Mr. Hamilton completed a distinguished 30-year career with Unisys Corporation.
